Hehe... remember a posting where i used to mention I dont mind being Lara? Neutral, sweet, smiley, chirpy, strong, looks naturally happy and very approachable? I love all those.. buttttttt... not in Lara's desk.
Lara.. now I get the picture of more of less what you have to go thru with studies and a baby in tow and back home as a wife and being an office-multitasker. i wonder how you actually make it. uhukkks.. Lara's a WONDERWOMAN!
I was entrusted and assigned to take care of her team (to pat and give them some TLC) while she is away. But, there's something they forgot to ask me. Whether I know totally what to do when I am there. No two jobs are exactly the same when you're in a big firm (well.. in my opinion, anywhere also), unless you're a TYPIST and your work is just to TYPE. Now in the modern technology world, things change big time! Its just that the way things work and organised in a department are different from another. Therefore I'm struck dumb a bit today, which like I suspected. Tapi, guess wot.. I survived! That's after at least 17 calls I made to Lara today!Lara i didnt mean to... hehe. I hope I eased a BIT of her work-pain though.
I'm so glad she is finally out of the hospital. The dreaded life within the HOSPITAL room and walls. Urrgh... when I was there.. 3 days is always more than enough for me. Takpe. u get well soon girl. I was the only one I think who didnt get to pay her a visit there. Because I was ill as well. No time to recuperate, as when I got back to the office, its back to hell-hole.

They dont call it the BEAUTY SLEEP for nothing now
I read today's The Sun paper (malaysia punya paper yang tiada Page 3 nenen model), referring to Page 18 about a study conducted recently, as revealed by an American physician, that getting enough sleep or sleeping more, can combat fat and obesity. He may be wrong in his studies, as you can read in the article. But IFFFFFFF he's right, marilah kita membuta beramei2!!
What's been happening to me (only to those who care...):
1) Stitches are healing fine. Doctor checked it yesterday and he said "it's all good!". But I'm still not supposed to "wet the spot". Until he takes them off on my payday. Whatever he does to it also I dont care la, coz everybody's happy on payday anyway. We discovered buffet breakfast at Strudels, Bangsar. lazat!!
2) I have been feeling under the weather, still feeling feverish and with a bit of blocked nose. I cant exactly taste the soups that I have been sipping lately, but the Tomyam soups have helped a lot with digestion. Ok la.. all in all.. I think I'm gonna be okay. Just that my husband have ordered me to take more rest, leave the children in his care and try to refrain myself from "trying to take care of every corner of the house" while I'm sick or on MC.
3) Even being sick, I can still be Feryal's beautician. Rendered service on Saturday night at my house, satu orang mencantikkan diri, joined by her husband, anak and abang. Woah.. sunggoh meriah rumah itu!
4) Somebody slap me! The more I see Nina's photos (of her kenduri) the more I am mesmerized by the great work of The Photoz!

Mum I wanna change my brains!
Daniel voiced out that he wants to change his brains today sebab he thinks his brains makes him degil at times.
I told him, it doesnt work that way.
As I was about to speak further, a little voice arose from somewhere at the backseat of the car.
"Dik, u cant change your brains, but you have to change yourself. When you are in standard 4, you will learn more about Pendidikan Sivik. It will help yourself to change into a better person more. You look at me and how I always help mama, respect teacher, respect elders, talk properly like that. You mean u wanna korek your brains??? Nanti doctor will take off your head and take out your brains like that, u want?"
Well what I was about to tell Daniel wasnt close to that, but from the words of a little girl, i zipped my mouth for the spur moment to hear what she has to say.
She is a smart little girl, getting wiser each day. Nurfarhana, you earn yourself a STAR today for your Star-board.
Looooo.......ng Footnote:
1) Nowadays, I improvise the star-redemption system by writing what they achieved every star for, so its a reminder for them to repeat the qualities and disciplines they have put up.
2) Today, was a day I felt totally upset. Mixed feelings about my sister's happiness. And pray she will be alright.
3) Of course, I was not well the whole week and till today, with all the commotion that arise secara tiba2, I felt like its not helping. The fever, the minor surgery... but I'm lucky because, my husband played doctor at home. He changed my stitches wound dressing, he bathed me to make sure the wound is not wet, and made sure that every meal that I have helps the healing process pronto, and give me hugs and kisses for nothing at all. I married an angel.
4) Yesterday, at my in-laws place, we were having baby-talks in full swing because Anne is gonna give birth very soon. The name of the baby have got the most beautiful meaning and I liked it very much. Such a wise choice. Congratulations Adik (Mr F) and Anne.
