Went to the Marche and back
The reason why I havent really visited The Curve's "street" area was because I was always obsessed with Ikea Roast Beef, Salmon and meatballs whenever I am on that side of the world.
So today (I love it when my plans worked out, as planned!), oh yes, we finally reached THE Marche Movenpick. What does Marche means? Itu market-lah.
So me and my ever-faithful soulmate/husband/lover/chef, Mr. Jr, went crazy enjoying the yummilicious Euro grubs. My husband is well aware of a terrible day I had (what else is new since last week! *sigh*) and he made sure I ordered all the nutritious food and non-mengarut ones. But I wanted the "happy food" like the waffle with Caramel Bananas!
Recommended by Faie in her blog before and was recommended by Feryal and Dela later, and still I-The-Degil, went for "Ikea Roast Beef, Salmon and meatballs whenever I am on that side of the world". I decided to re-visit this place for at least 5 times after this (continously). If there's more space in the stomach, I can.. hehe (changed my mind) hop over across for erm....barang2 Ikea borong time.... (.....and also Ikea Roast Beef, Salmon and meatballs.. sigh! - type kecik2 sebab terasa keji)
Next time with the children la, because I know what they would love. They would definitely go for the Rosti and Euro Deli sausages and me and Jr's pick on the next trip would be Pastas and Steaks.
Met my friend Putri (err... errr.. I forgot her second name) there and my husband gave us 5 minutes of gossip session while he stood there in the middle of the marketplace, deciding what to eat. I like her, this friend of mine. We used to work together in Amway and she never fails to fascinate me with her style. She looks gorgeous even tho with two children about 20 and 17 years of age respectively. She is still with her trademark of "low v-necks" *ehem*... i did ask my husband "Do you think I'd be like her when I'm at her age?" He just says "i wont be the LEAST surprised, honey"
Jr and me, we took a walk hand in hand down the street, checking out other eateries later after that and of course... errr after FCUK baju today, I dont think it's wise to spend "seperti nafsu syaitan" on bajus like I meant to.
Is it just me turning into a good and disciplined ex-shopaholic or issit because I'm saving this urge until my payday which is two days away?
I have turned into a GRUMPY OLD LADY
The only pick-up factor that I have the whole of today is - My husband came over for a scrumptious lunch at Chakri Palace. (I love you soooooooooooooo much more today than yesterday!)
The other pick-up factor: A black top with tie-backs from FCUK
only two pick-ups? this is so not good for the soul.
Yes I am grumpy at the moment. Sorry to my friends who buzzed me in YM. Cant talk much.
Cant really talk much. Have to workkkkkkkk only.
Have to arrange for something good tonight. A work like this needs some soul-food. Will try Marche Movenpick at teh Curve as per suggested by my home-gal, Yal. And of course, DVDs later. I like that movie - EUROTRIP. I'm a such a moron. I'm a sucker for those kind of movies!
The unnecessary fear build-up
What do best-friends really mean nowadays? Relative of below, well, it can happen to anyone good that you spill out and look at them trustfully in the eye.
I was informed of a BACK-STABBING case recently. Of one GOOD FRIEND to another. Another reason why I am more sceptical of trusting people and of course remains sceptical of having best friend/(s).
I cant trust people enough nowadays. Enough of good friends becoming like that, I even have lent ears to people who are one-half of two best friends.
What is the next BEST thing here to being best-friends when you seem that you cant get enough of each other at times, but you are actually a fulltime bitch behind her back and she, behind yours? As I see it from my point of view, nobody have best friends. I am not alone.
I feel good being entrusted to be a shoulder to cry on and a listener/companion, but I fear more that, sometimes you always end up as scape-goats for knowing too much.
The best thing is , after people see entries like these comes from me, some immediate questions will come up via Ym or sms sounding like " Sapa yang you blog about tu?"
If I would spill out secrets, I would insert names. :)
The kerenah of the people here is unbelievable!
Why is everybody so kelam kabut? I have never had so many emails in my inbox!! I have to take things slow because if only they understand that some things I have to study the procedure and the depth of things before I start of doing something which is on a temporary basis pun by the time I put my heart and soul into it. adehhh....

Just got back from sembahyang sunat Aidiladha. As usual, we parked at the side lane of Tadika Chong, a lane adjoining the street of our house to Jalan Maarof, to the masjid. By right can walk only, but but but.. tak sanggop deal with sweat in cleavage and underarms. Beggars lined up at the mosque carpark entrance.
"Ma, let's give money!"
"Later please sayang, on our way out okeh"
Actually mama got 2 pieces of fifty ringgit only in her purse as far as she could remember. Wonder beggars got change or not? Later mama will try to fish out for coins in the inside pocket of the bag. Little boy and daddy waved goodbye, making their way to the men's section, arranging slippers before they walk up the side steps. Daddy's attempt to not endanger the safety of people accidently stepping on slippers strewn all over the staircase.
Somewhere at the ladies' section, in an attempt to "merapatkan saf" as best as we could, three generations stood in a row. A 60 year old, a 31 year old and a 10 year old.
The 31 year old and the 60 year old socialites were busy talking and saying hello to their Bangsar neighbours right after prayers.
While the little 10 year old girl is busy counting the change she managed to korek from her mum's handbag's inner pocket, to give to the carpark beggars and their children.
Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha to all those celebrating and May God have Mercy upon us all.
Amin.
