I had an Indian teacher in this particular year. Her name is Ms Chandra. She explained to us that Chandra means the moon.... and we went like ..... errrkkk ok...
She can be quite an asshole I tell ya. Lorat tak tentu pasal. She likes to spank the kids' hands with a ruler. Little does she know that she is a stuck up teacher and everybody hates her juling eyes (mata kero). Also , Ustazah Zaleha (now dah Allahyarhamah) loves to pinch naughty children on their stomach.. like this ... PINCH THE MIDDLE OF THE STOMACH AND TWIST. That is the biggest pain I felt in my entire life. Much more painful than getting a rotan on my butts and a good whack with the clothes-hanger (my grandma does this!) on my thighs!
My friend, Mia Edora taught me how to speak the F-language. I kinda enjoyed it till now as a language as in i'm talking in codes when i wanna mengumpat somebody when that person is near. SOMEBODY WHO I'M SURE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND F-WORD LA. Sofo, whefen Ifi spefeak lifike thifis, sofome wofont ufundefersstafand.
The subject I love most is Sejarah. I remembered learning abt Alfonso de Albuquerque. My friend Edura, during the reading session, read it as (Edura's pronounciation version - Alfonso de Alberkaki!). heheh...
I also learned that I have an actress friend. Her name is Johanna. She acted with Jins Shamsuddin, Sarimah, Noor Kumalasari in this movie called Tiada Esok Bagimu. She acted as the little girl who got knocked down by her father's car at the start of the movie. Watak dia mati begitu sahaja. So the couple "adopted" Noor Kumalasari after Johanna's "death".
Again this year, I am active in concerts and choirs (memang suka dan terrer menyanyi lah!).
Whaddya know, at the end of this year, I also got the prize for Std 4's best English student. :-D heeeee... The prize was an Enid Blyton's storybook entitled Amelia Jane's Adventures.
Meanwhile, at the household scene, my father enrolled me for Maths tuition. This tuition teacher of ours comes to the house to teach Maths and he looked kinda goofy to me. But his Maths teaching is not too bad la.
This is not the end Merry! hehe... Merry's hair changed fashion this year. I wonder where she went for her hairdos but this year.... man!! She had locks... YES.. MEMANG HASIL KEDAI KERINTING RAMBUT PUNYA LA. curly wurly... and i just cant help staring at her. Kecik2 dah melawa. I was small then, so when another little girl I see is as vain as that, I was thinking she was waaaay weird. heheh...
But guess wot, at the end of the year, before school hols, she had ANOTHER HAIRDO! I think this one is portrayed inthe class photo... This is the maggi hairdo. Well. I dont know whether this is the same locks applied with relaxant cream or wut but I remembered the end of the year, ada cam wave hairdo (half maggi gitu). So, me and me and Anna shared the same idea of "Merry ni suka buat rambut, kan?"..... and the other went "a-ah la..." cewah... umpatan zaman kecik2.. naiiiive je. hahah!
